Success Stories & Testimonials

Career Success Series - Southeastern Louisiana University - Click to view assessment

Brett recently served as trainer/facilitator for a [5-part] career success webinar series hosted by our university. We endeavored to make this series broad enough to draw students from various disciplines and classifications, but also specific enough that each student could grab some realistic and actionable takeaways. Brett was very attentive to our requests and worked to ensure that the content for each session was relevant to our student body. His presentation style and delivery is super personable - which allowed for open and thoughtful discussion and interaction. Our engagement during this series was unlike anything I have seen in an online environment. We are thankful to have found Brett during such a pivotal time where a webinar series was our only option to deliver content to our students (COVID-19). I'm looking forward to future collaboration with Brett. I consider him a top notch trainer and a trusted resource for career development.

Panther Success Series - Georgia State University- Click to view assessment

"I worked with Brett on a four part workshop series at Georgia State University in the University Housing Department. I was extremely impressed by Brett's knowledge on resumes, LinkedIn, cover letters, and everything related to job searching. In addition, I was taken back by his professionalism, relatability, and adaptability. Brett was always open to collaborate and adapt his workshops for our targeted audiences, upperclassmen students. I 100% recommend Brett Ellis Career Marketing Services for any career development needs.” - Maria Villanueva Maycott, Residence Hall Director

New Year, New Job - Brett Ellis Private Workshop Series - Click to view assessment

“I feel like Brett just unlocked a secret level to the game! He gave so many pointers I never would have thought of, and I believe they'll definitely help distinguish me from other job seekers. As a young person I particularly appreciate the salary negotiation portion. It can be intimidating when you don't have a lot of experience in the workforce.” - Student Attendee

Greeks Graduate - Kennesaw State University - Click to view assessment

"I want to send a huge congratulations to the College Panhellenic Council at Kennesaw State University for being recognized by the Southern Greek Leadership Association (Excellence in Outstanding Educational Programming Award) for their Success Series program. The Success Series was facilitated by Brett Ellis and helped our sorority and fraternity members learn how to articulate their leadership experience onto a resume as well as learn the basic of LinkedIn. As an advisor, it's always great to see the hard work of my students pay off. Congrats again to Hayley Edmonds and all of the KSU College Panhellenic leadership that helped to organize this program.” - Ryan Camon, Coordinator of Fraternity & Sorority Life

PantherCon - Georgia State University - Click to view assessment

“PantherCon, a day-long conference for University Housing student staff members on career development, was a great addition to our staff’s development this year. Our department is focusing on career progression for our students and this was a great start. It provided an opportunity for our student staff to learn about options for their future and to begin planning for job searches. Brett’s leadership on this program was outstanding. Not only did he cover a variety of topics, but he also assessed our staff’s knowledge and confidence in these areas, which increased overall after participating in PantherCon sessions.” - Shannon Corey, Associate Director of Residence Life
