Recently, I have received more and more messages from old friends, college peers, and others about not feeling a sense of purpose in their work anymore. The worst part: Many of them are waiting for excitement and purpose to fall into their laps.
I'm not sure what is causing people to feel this way, but many of them are doing the exact same thing they were doing 5-10-20 years ago, and they are doing things the exact same way.
In the book, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck (my favorite book), Mark Manson shares that "To be happy we need something to solve. Happiness is therefore a form of action; not something bestowed upon you, not something that you magically discover...."
If you are unhappy in your job, what you are studying, or your business, it may be time for you to find something new or different ways to approach what you currently do.
